Professor I. Polyxena

Professor Polyxena's office is on the ground floor, almost directly off the great hall. As she is head of Gryffindor it is rather spacious, with room enough for a large desk, three chairs, and a fireplace. Most of the furniture is scarlet, trimmed in gold for her House. Scarlet curtains surround the large window over-looking the lake. The walls of her office are paneled wood. One of the panels has a carved, snarling lion. If you press in the right eye of the carving the panel swings open and you see her room. this is rather more simple then the office, with plain walls and no window. A simple, four-poster bed stands in one corner along with a writing desk and a fireplace. A scarlet carpet covers the floor, with the tassels always mussed from where her cat plays with them. A door leads to the grounds of the castle, giving her a short cut to where all of her classes are held.
