To loose someone close to you is possibly the most difficult thing that can ever happen to someone. And ofld be argued that it depends on how close that person was to you originally. It they were perhaps, a distant aunt that you had never met or even spoken too. Well you would't really be threatening suicide. But what about osmeone closer? A best friend, or even heaven forbid your close family. Well you'd be preatty wrecked. OF course it is situation relevant, more often than not being girls take loosing their mums hardest and boys loosing their dads. Purely because there are just, "Girl things" and "boy things". It shouldn't happen to anyone. But happen it does. And that is a strange tradgedy.
Outside the window the wind whistled and blew but neither of the two would have noticed it. It seemed simply to be blowing up higer and high, form the earlier breezes threatening a full bown storm. Outside the rain started to beat a tatoo on the window pains but inside it was warm, with the golden light of the hufflepuff common room chase the cold and wet away. But even warmth could not chase away the almost tangible atmosphere or expectation. Her words were out and they had to be answered.
Conor looked at her full in the face before he answered, thinking carefully about what he was going to say. It needed to be the right thing. He knew that. heaved a sigh, standing he made his way unsteadily over and squeezed her shoulder. Who wouldn't? it was a rhetorical question. Then he wobbled back to his sofa, falling into it and blinking. His head was starting to pound. He could think of nothing more to say to waht she had said, so he tried his best to give her what he hoped was a suportive smile instead.
