Even though Hogwarts was a school for magic, it was so predictable. It started loosing it's magical and mysterious feelings towards Travis by the end of year three. The school didn't change, only it's students. They still had the same staff members, same teachers, and same classes. Every year Travis was just a year older doing the same things. When were things going to change? When was he going to be intrigued by the activities at school? What was so special about the last three years than the first four? Travis didn't know, but he was hoping to find out. What was the OWLs all about anyways? They didn't seem any more special than the other exams they got. The teachers seemed to stress the fact that they are very important, but learning came easy to Travis, it was almost a shock to him that he didn't get picked into Ravenclaw instead of Gryffindor. It probably was because his parents were both in Gryffindor, but clearly he wasn't going to complain, the sorting hat knows all.
It was between classes, and Travis wandered the halls, just like he did always. His friends were off probably back at the dorms, but Travis remained in the clear view of the grounds. He didn't really want to climb all those steps just to come back down for Care of Magical Creatures class, which was all the way down, almost at the border line of the school grounds and the forbidden forest. Travis was a fan of the class, he loved animals and mythical animals. He was a vegan, he supported all the animals rights that the muggles seemed to not care about. The wizarding world was a lot better than the muggles, at least they knew how to keep the animals from becoming extinct. As he was walking around the grounds with a sign of boredom on his face, he caught himself watching kids play some sort of quidditch-like game in the field with a tennis ball.

Ill Be Strong ------------------------------------------------------- but i wish i was someone else
Evan was in the grounds, well in the stables playing with Legolas's mane. The large white stallion was more of a silvery color instead of white, which made everyone think that he was part unicorn. Which wouldnt surprise Evan a bit. He had some powers that Evangeline could never imagine. She loved him more than anything else in the world. Legolas just breathed deeply and lowered his tiara so Evan could lean against him. Legolas's long silvery mane was nearly to his shouldars, his forelock to his nose. He was lean but very tall and covered in muscle. He adored Evangeline more than anyone else in the world and whenever Evangeline was on the grounds Legolas was right by her side. None of the teachers let this bother them because he did not cause a problem and stayed out of the way, but he never left her.
Evangeline suddenlt had a burst of energy. Leaping on her mighty stallions back, she did not even have any tack, she asked him to go forward. Legolas worked better through their mind. Evan did not know how they were able to do it but they could communicate through eachothers minds. As soon as Legolas emerged from the barn he reared as high as his long legs were letting him and he neighed in his deep low voiced neigh before he bounded across the grounds. Evangeline felt so free and at home when she was on Legolas that it was almost as good as riding a broom. The large stallion was shining, some of his power was just making him glow over everyone around him making the grounds seem brighter than it actually was. After a few laps around the grounds Evangeline asked him to stop and stop he did. LEgolas arched his nape and pawed the ground as Evan looked around. As soon as Evan spotted Travis she asked Legolas to go to him and he immediately obliged. Hey Travis what are you doing here all by yourself? Dismounting Evan gave Legolas a loving pat and he returned the favor by nibbling lovingly on her shirt and nickering softly.
ooc: done. i was thinking that Travis couldve had a crush on her since first year and yet is afraid to tell her because shes part veela but eventually he does

Travis wasn't even sure what was so interesting about kids playing a small match of quidditch, they all looked about 12 or 13, no more than second years. Travis never did that when he was younger, that was something new to him. Still, it was enjoyable to watch, it wasn't like he had anywhere else to go. He sighed, wondering when this long break would end. He didn't feel like going to look for friends to hang out with until then, because the bell always rang at the worst time. It was best to wait until later to hang out with them or in the class, since today they were being lectured on the dangers of the Forbidden Forest. It's not like the fifth years already don't know what lurks in the forest, every year the same speech is just a little annoying. They think that if they tell them every year then it'll finally sink in, stories of students who went in there and came out dead didn't frighten Travis anymore, unlike it did when he first heard about it. Travis was a fifth year and he knew a lot of magic that could protect from even the deadliest of creatures, or so he thinks. Travis has even wandered off into the forest a few times himself and he has not seen anything even close to what the teachers describe the appearance of these "monsters."
Travis scanned to look for something else to watch for a little bit. He saw a horse galloping around, and knew immediately who the rider was on top. It was none other than Evangeline and her beautiful horse, Legolas. She dismounted the horse. She looked as gorgeous as ever, but Travis kept calm, he was afraid that if Evangeline found out he liked her, she might flip out. He sighed, wishing there was an easy way to tell her his feelings for her without having her freak out or anything. All Travis knew about veelas were that they were physically attractive to the opposite sex, but he knew they were kind of dangerous to mess with. Travis was perfectly fine being just her friend, but sometimes he wondered if they could be more. "Hey Evangeline. Didn't feel like going all the way back to the Gryffindor Tower to come back down for Care of Magical Creatures Class. What are you two up to?" Travis asked, his eyes went from Evangeline to Legalos.
