The loud bang from the crowd outsie of the changing rooms lifted Adams mood as he pulled on his quiddtich robes and watched the team walk out. The room had been harsh last time, all the tension between James and Adamhad brought the teams moods down badly making them slightly anxious. The game had been fine though and thankfully it was called off half way through because of the loss of players on both sides. If it had continued Adam would have probably been the laughing stock of the school right now for loosing. Actually there had been no stand offs between him and Frae since the match which surprized him. He half expected her to do something but thus nothing happened. His hand rung through his sandy hair and then to his stomache. He really shouldn't have left St Mungos but he had to this was a quidditch match, like Adam would miss it? Unlikley.
Picking up his battered broom he tightened the golden string around the front end of the wooden handle before walking toward the curtains. The was it. He couldn't turn around and complain, put off the match because of the opperation. One last touch with his hand to the bandages before they swiped the curtains aside to the uproar of the crowd. Well almost. The slytherins were booing loudly in an uproar of Weasley is Our King, which didn't effect Adam as if has his father. The giant squealing encouragements from the griffindor team and a large shove on the shoulder made him flinch before walking to his team. They all were still quite worried about his health, he didn't look right or so they had said. He looked thinner and paler and the black rings around his eyes looked like he'd been punched and given two black eyes earlier in the day. Although the excitment had softened the darkness lightly.

She stood in the Ravenclaw dressing room, taking one final glance into the mirror as her team strode by and through the door to the stadium. Gloved hands reached upwards to tie her blonde locks into a ponytail with a dark blue ribbon. Then she looked away, took her Phantom Phlyer in her hands and followed the rest of the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team towards the first game of the season. Coming abreast the front, she moved forward to the middle of the field where she would shake hands with Adam- the gryffindor captain.
Her insides were churning with nervousness, a sensation she didn't often feel. Addie was typically extremely confident and never fearful. But she had spent the last two and a half weeks sitting at her sister's bedside. Chadwick had a horrible case of the muggle disease, Pnemonia, and Addie had been running errands for her mother and whatnot. She hadn't been to school, she certainly hadn't the chance to fly. Naturally, she was a bit nervous. Not to mention her exhaustion and stress. It was hard catching up on all that schoolwork. But she pushed the thought from her mind. She had a match to win. And, she'd be seeing Adam for the first time in a long time. That was something to look forward to.
She stopped in the middle ring on her side, holding her broom in her right hand. The breeze blew, sending a shiver down her spine. Soon she spotted Adam's red robes approaching. A furrow of concern folded her brow as she saw him closer. He seemed so pale and week. What had happened? Of course, she didn't want to ask. This was hardly the time or place. So she settled with a soft smile and,
"Hello, Adam."

Adam's eye glanced into the Hufflepuff stand trying to catch any glims of Ebony he could but right now everyone looked perfectly the same. He was half expecting Rose to run on the pitch or scream out for him to stop yet the corwds were silencing as a violent gust of wind blew down the pitch sending the robes beating against the players. Taking and blowing out a large gulp of air Adam turned to the second huddle of griffindor players and gave a week smile. They nodded back with an approving sense and let him walk out of the corner to nearing middle point. The team lazily followed ready to just get on with the game instead of the whole meeting, greeting, good game sports speech and shake they had to stand through. However this was quite intresting for Adam. Obviously he'd heard that Adeline hadn't been in school but no one knew why. Generally with feelings toward Addie Adam wanted to know why incase it was serious.
Her face caused a smile to appear on his own ghostly look. The broom, which was lazily dragged beside him, was held in his left hand for no perticular reason other than it was more comfortable. His eyes were held to the floor trying not to look so much of a give away to his health actually somehow he was a little disturbed at how the teachers hadn't said something to him although they proably just thought the black eyes were from the lack of sleep and that he was thin because he was growing taller. They always did that. Made things up even if it was obvious something was wrong. Adam pushed his right hand into his pocket and smiled lightly back to Addie. "Hello Adeline." His tone was quite similar to always, full of cheek and bubbly but a hint of it was hoarse yet not too obvious. When he first came back he sounded as if he had been shouting for 4 days none stop at the top of his voice yet now it was just a little whisper on the ends of words.
