The young witch quickly strode down the dimly lit corridor toward the Ravenclaw common room. As she walked Jenna reflected upon all the things that had changed about her since she had last been at Hogwarts. Although her personality hadn’t changed a bit; she had grown an inch over the summer to reach a whopping height of 5’3”, her formerly jet back hair had lightened to a mousy brown that trickled down her back in small waves and curls, then halted just above her waist. Her emerald eyes constantly darted here and there observing the slightest detail.
Jenn was an outcast at Hogwarts, but she had come to expect it. Most everyone thought her irritating or silly because she never stayed on one subject for very long. The only time she dared to speak was during classes when asked to by teachers, and even then that was rare. Quidditch was her secret get away. Up in the air it nothing seemed to matter except the rush of the wind and the feeling of hurtling through the air high above the ground. There she could be herself. Then, and only then, she could be herself around others.
The girl had begun having strange dreams, and strange experiences, some thought her queer because she sometimes knew their names and even houses before she met them. This strange talent astounded even Jenna, who couldn’t imagine how she knew these things. She had learned to keep herself quiet, and when she forgot to remain silent and was asked how she knew, she always gave the same answer: she had heard it from some one else. Sure it was a lie, but the small guilt was nothing compared to the stares and whispers. Jenna finally stopped at the entrance to Ravenclaw Tower, a stone eagle’s head was jutting out from the wall waiting to ask her a question and then (if correctly answered) she would be allowed entrance. But before the question was asked she blurted out an answer, even worse she got it correct. Lucky guess? Coincidence? Possible, but not probable. Footsteps echoed to her left, she half turned, hoping whoever it was hadn’t heard the ordeal. Then a second more distressing thought occurred to her, they could be a Slytherin. Jenna hated them fiercely, and was bullied almost unmercifully; she was a half blood, she didn’t have any friends, she was an over intelligent Ravenclaw, the normal things, but Jenn had spent a few nights in the Hospital Wing from jinxes and she was cautious. Out of old habit the girl clutched the golden locket that had belonged to her now dead sister, and drew her wand.

It had happened again.
The night terror had returned, only this time a much worse version. And now the young witch paced the halls, trying to get the images from her mind. She wished desperatly for her depression medicine, but refused to let herself get it. Her adopted brother, dependable, sweet Albus, had told her she didn't need it. And so Anna felt the need to believe him. She watned so much to believe him, for it to be true.
Her black hair flung itself over her shoulders, flying backwards in rebellion of her fast pace. She didn't even know where she was, she had just left the common room and roamed. As she did, she cursed her blood line in her mind. It was because of who she was that her family hadbeen killed and now she was haunted by dreams of what had happened that horrible night. Related to two ofthe worst families in the history of wizards: the Malfoys and the Lestrange's. Her grandfather had been brother to Narcissus and Bellatrix. Her grandfather, Sirius Black, godfather to Harry Potter, was murdered by his sister Bellatrix. Her blood was pure, but she was hated by the pure bloods because of Sirius Black. He was a blood traitor, and so was she. Anna Blair hated her cousins with a passion and avoided them when possible. OF course, it was hard to pass up tossing a jinx at Esmerelda Lestrange, simply because the younger girl didn;t know enough magic to get her back in a painful way. Usually, Anna Blair stuck to her adoptive family, Adam Weasley, James Potter, and Albus Potter. They made life make sense again.
AS she rounded a corner, she was greeted by a drawn wand. The girl was obviously expecting an enemy. Throwing her hands up, Anna Blair backed up.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you."

(Are you okay) "Oh." said Jenna quiletly, she blushed, guilty she had frightened the girl, "Sorry." She murmered appoligetically. Her hands dropped and wand was in her pocket once agian, the ravenclaw glanced at the other girl from behind her curtian of wavy hair. "I'm Jenna Roberts." She offered quietly. Jenn's green eyes slowly worked their way up to Anna's ,then everything stopped. suddenly Jenns was assulted by pictures and sounds; what seemed like an image from a nightmare, Anna Blare shouting at a first year slytherin, Anna Blaire lounging by the lake; and other images that seemed to come straight from the conntianceness of the Gryfindor girl
All this happened in a confusing and slightly painful flash. When Jenna came back to herself shewas shaking, her face was white, and her hands were clenched into fists, the knuckles white with strain. Realizing what a sight she must seem to the other girl Jenn flushed once more, color fludding her pale face in an instant. her mind was a torent of confusion, What had happened? Why had it happened with this girl?.

"It's okay, I understand where you're coming from."
Anna Blair ran a hand through her ebony locks, pushing them from her face in an effort to clear her mind. It didn't work. The face hadn't faded from her memory yet, he was closer than ever. She shivered a bit, squeezing her dark eyes shut to try to close her mind to him. It was chilly in this part of the castle, so she tugged on her sweatshirt and stuck her hand in the pocket of the hoodie.
"I'm Anna Blair Black."
Anna Blair returned the courtesy, glancing at the girl who was now acting so strangely. She was pale and obviously strained.
"You ok?"

Jenn tried to straighten herself, but her knees slightly buckeled. to steady herself, Jenn clutched the wall for support. Should she tell her? maybe she could help Jenn, for Jenn was scared beyond measure thanks to these images and sounds which still echoed in her head.
She would try to explain to her, and if she could manage to explain, and Anna happened to get it or understand, then she would be okay. but if not... images of the people who she had told last time this happened, floated in her mind and she remembered the aftermath- the names she was called, hummiliation, and the hurt it had caused her.
"No, I'm not okay. But I think you can help me." Jenn closed her eyes momentarilly as she paused, then continued. "I answered the question to get into the Ravenclaw classroom before it was even asked, and just now, i saw..." it was getting harder for her to finish. "I saw, well, images - like a vision of you, and knew your name even before I was told." Jenna looked at the ground not daring to look at her, sure she was probably laughing.

She believed her.
Exactly the way Anna had believed her mother, she now believed Jenna. She was very certain she'd never even heard of this girl before, which was not uncommon in a castle of this size. Jenna wouldn't look at her, was she expecting a bad reaction? Probably, Anna would too.
"Bloody hell, you're phsycic! Well, kinda...my mum was like that too."
A brief shadow fell over Anna's pale skin, but lifted just as quickly. How desperatly she wanted the medicine that would make her forget everything, but she'd promised Al she wouldn't touch it. Her adopted father, Harry Potter, had sent her a letter by owl saying that they were close to finding the wizard who haunted her even now. Anna hoped and prayed for the letter to come saying that they'd caught him.

Jenn looked up at Anna not believing what she said. for once in her life, Jenna had met someone who finally believed her, even though she hadn't told but a few. it took a while for it to sink in.
Phsycic.
the word flashed before her eyes. why hadn't she realized, it made perfect sence. Jenna was curious. "how can i be phsycic? no one in my family is." then horror struck her face, "promise you won't tell anyone, i already get hexed and made fun of enough as it is, this would be just the thing that people would make fun of me for." she believed her. that was all that mattered now.

Anna flashed the barest hint of a smile before answering the girl's request. Perhaps they weren't so different, Jenna and Anna. Anna was tormented by visions of her past, Jenna was tormented by visions of other people. It had to be hard for her.
"I won't tell a soul, I promise."
The raven-haired girl leaned against the wall behind her, arms folded in a casual manner. Curiously dark eyes studied Jenna, trying to figure out why the girl was so familiar although she knew they'd never met before. Shaking her head, Anna spoke again.
"What did you see about me?"
