Who needed a classroom when you had all the ground of Hogwarts? No body, that's who. Let the professors of Charms, Transfiguration, and Potions boil indoors. Today was a fine day, and Isadora meant to use it. She was, you see, the Care of Magical Creatures professor, so there was a bit of a problem with teaching her class inside. She very much doubted Headmistress McGonagle would appreciate runespoors and nifflers running around the school. Of course, most days she used a sheild charm to keep whatever creatures the class happened to be working with enclosed, but today there was no need. Besides, it was a joint fourth and fith year class and she wasn't quite sure if she would have even been able to cast such a big charm. Charms had never been Isadora's strong point. Animals, however, she had always had a connection with, even when she got punished for seeing things that had no right to exsist as a child. Her parents had neve rbeleived her allegations of magical beasts, mainly because they couldn't see them. Isadora was, if you haven't figured it out, muggle-born. Mudblood some would say. As a child she had always been so dramatic, with an embarrassingly loud laugh. She couldn't remember the last time she had laughed. years of names and arrogance will do that to a person, beat them back until they were no longer anything but a shadow of their former selves.
With a start Isadora awaoke from her reverie and headed down to the Forest. Each student had gotten a note about where class was located today, but she would give them an extra five minutes just in case. You could never tell with some of the dimwits she had taught. With a grin the professor picked up her pace, almost running toward the edge of a forest where her lesson awaited. Two gorgeous equines stood tethered to trees. One a magnifecent oak tree, it's splendor and dark green branches compleminting the young unciron's golden pelt perfectly. The other was a gnarled tree that Isadora couldn't remember the name of. It had the appearance of a bent old lady, her back harrgard and swooped, her head hanging. The limbs of the tree were gnarled with something like arthritis. And yet.. the sheer ungaurded history in the scars on the trunk did not dim the trees golden guest, but augmented it, contrasting so endearingly that the unicorn seemed to shine with teh internal light of youth. They were the grandmother that took her granddaughter to the fair, joints creaking as she was pulled along by the fair haired child with eyes as big as saucers as they stared at all the wonders of the world.
Perhaps that was the reason the short teacher positioned herself near the other tree, the oak. She didn't want to spoil the fantasy she had cooked up for the duo. What would she be? The jealous older sister? With a grin Isadora nodded at the students who were beginning to troop across the grounds toward her. They were from all four houses, but only fourth and fith years. Most were good kids, but there were a few bad eggs in teh bunch. Polyxena suddenly wished she had checked her class list, just to make sure that hellion James wasn't in this class. Of course, he probably was.

Today was the day that one class was finally outside, the thrill of going out on a pretty day like this made the girl almost jump from class to class in a dream, she had classes with some of her friends but she was always on the Slytherin side, although she managed to get aisle seats so she could talk here and there. Outside was different and she could stand with whom she wished. Praise the Care of Magical Teacher!
Her robes came down to where her feet hit the ground, the skirt shorter than permitted and her shirt and vest nicely fitted with a little looseness to it, her tie was normal. She was looking in the mirror of the girls' bathroom, she smiled and put a little glitter on her eyeshadow once more, she was pretty without makeup but it was something she enjoyed that helped draw out the violet optics. She was happy with her appearance and finally left to hurry down the halls to the grand doors; slipping through them she walked with other students to the site of the lesson, alot of girls were excited, they whispered about it being unicorns.
When Arturo appeared on the site she saw the unicorns and smiled, they were gentle and trusting to girls yet wary aorund boys, it was her lucky day. She thought unicorns were lovely but let them stay in the Forest without her making a disturbance. She stood with the others sort of surrounding the area before the unicorns in an elongated U. Her heart beat somewhat irregularly; she was excited to see what they would get to do. She was early enough to stand in the front, towards the nearer flank of the unicorns. She looked to the Professor for information but strayed to stare at the beauties to the side of Professor Polyxena.

Down at the edge of the forbiddon forest a silver glimmer gave away the positioning of the class, Unicorns. The word was like a most wonderfuly sweet apple that melted on ones tounge and left only a deliciouse memory of what might have been. It was a word that was like a possibly. It was wonderful. Unicorns...
Ebony hurried down the sloping lawns towards the sliver glimmer and her class. The slight breeze caughte under her auburn hair flicking it out behind her so that it flowed gently like somthing from a photograph. She hitched her bag back up onto her shoulder again and smiled. Todays was going to bed a good lessons that was sure.
As she approached she saw only one other student stood by their proffessor, as she grew nearer she could see that the girl was a slytherine and although she was not one to judge people at sight she could not help shivering slightly. She came to a halt a few meters from her and gave her a very quick friendly smile to convey good feeling, then she looked over at the the proffessor, waiting to start.
Excitedly she glanced across at the unicorns, they seemed to reflect teh sunlight with their shimmering, dazzing quality of their beauty. Instead of dulling everything around them however it simply seemed to radiate so that everything with in the nearby radius of it became enriched by their dassle. It was a wonderful effect and it made Ebony smile once again. Unicorns she whispered, rolling the word about her mouth, Unicorns... teh beatiful sweet memory of a word. Care of Magical Creatures. Unicorns. Two wonderful sets of words. Ebony smiled, her day was allready off to a wonderful start.
