Warn your warmth to turn away ... A small butterfly fluttered on the wind then turned around the corner and shifted to natural form. A girl, blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, and a smirk placed on her face. She had just gotten done putting up her things. It was going to be a great year but the only thing she worried about was she had no where to stay. All her family had died. Della Angelus shook her head as she walked on. Looking around, she saw no people at all. They were probably at the great hall, eating and conversing. Della didn't feel like going there right now but that's where she was heading if she'd ever find it. Frustrated, she stopped and sighed. No one was around that she could talk to which was rare for Della but she simply had to be there. One hand was placed on her hip the other lingering. Della sighed and moved to the wall to sink down to the floor. She wasn't very good and things and was one to give up most of the time. Della propped her weight on the wall and waited silently and alert. Here it’s December, everyday.

The bay horse jumped up the steps with ease speeding through the door before chucking the blond out and vanishing. It was quicker to get around if you were an animagus, well that was if you had four legs. Although he hadn't had quidditch today he still had his quidditch robes on, the deep maroon beating at his heels on the back his name and position, The gold badge on his chest said it all 'captain'. He was proud of course yet the whole thing of being captain was responsibility, something that this young man could do without. Dragging feet over a large mat he wiped off the mud and rolled his eyes. Lifting his wand he silently cast words above him in the entrance hall saying 'Griffindor Quidditch tryouts Saturday 12-4pm', swinging the wand in a slicing motion it sped through the doors of the great hall like a ghost and with a loud bag shouted out over the griffindor table. Grinning at himself Adam looked around.
His turquoise eyes fell upon someone he'd seen around but never paid much attention to. He smiled weakly at her and them frowned before perking himself back up again. A scream came from the hall followed by a repeat of the message. Adam guessed that the words, whihc were like human sparklers, had sent a spark to someones head, he'd see later. "Hey your Della right?" His head cocked to one side slightly as he walked over and yawned, he really either needed to sleep earlier or stay in later. The second option appealed to him more. Running his fingers over the silk cuffs unconciously he let his eyes fall into a shadowed area where they seemed to look more green, teal like. Running a hand through his hair he sighed lightly and tried to stop himself from yawning once more.

Della stroke her arm softly as she watched silently. She'd lifted herself off the wall and was turning to go walk again but then she saw a boy. Man, actually. Sighing, she turned. Her eyes slightly widened when she saw that it was Ronald Wesley's son. Ron had been a friend, best friend really, of Harry's and Harry had killed her uncle when he was just eleven. Realizing that she'd spaced out when he'd spoken, a rapid nod was given to inform him she had heard. Sighing softly, she gazed about then return her ocean blue eyes to his features. Curious thoughts ran though her mind but she stared him in the eyes, still content that someone had finally came. "Yes sir, I am."

His ways were funny, he would use an animagus form to get around but run into a bathroom alone to change. He hated others seeing him in his canine form, it erased the allure of mystery. He was a sucker for secrets and this was his own and strongly kept with his friends. He stopped to think of Adeline, his ex girlfriend but best friend. She had to know but he wasn't for sure, oh well. At least not everyone knew, like they knew about Adam Weasley's form.
Speak of the devil there he was talking to a girl, damn he was stupid. That was Della Angelus, Dom didn't personally know her but he was in a circle that talked about everyone, and not gossip, but truth. Her uncle was killed by Harry Potter; disgusting the way Adam thought everyone loved him. Dom knew that ladies liked him and he wasn't cocky just knowledgable. He decided to walk on over and speak to Adam, not nastily, depending on how the boy reacted. Dom smirked and went about his way.
"Hey horse boy." Dominick called out nonchalantly. It was an insult but more of a name he prefered to use on Adam, it was second nature. He smiled at the girl; yes Della was beautiful but what was Weasley doing with her? Especially since she had to know about the killing mishap. Dom shrugged it off to himself and came closer almost beside Della. His green irises looked Adam up and down. A horse could be extremely dirty, so could a dog but hey, Dominick always took a swim in the lake before returning if he had been out.

Della talked softly. She had no intentions what so ever on Adam Wesley stopping by. Gazing around again, she sighed softly then returned her optics to Adam. She blinked twice before looking at a up coming figure. Sweet nibblers. It was Dominick Lysander. Della had liked him from day one. His smart-ass mouth, to his luscious hair. Realizing she'd spaced out again, she shook her head and acted normal. He approached and said something to Adam but she was listening. Della was debating on weather to speak up or shift.
Dominick took his place almost beside her. Her eyes gazed around again. Then she finally glanced up at him. Not wanting to speak she stood, content still. A deep breath was took before shuffling her feet slightly. Her robe was quiet dusty on the back from leaning on the wall. Hesitating slightly, she wished to just change and leave the two to talk, fight, ramble or something but she didn't move. As froze as a statue.

Dominick sensed Weasley wasn't into picking up a fight. He relaxed a little and thanked the lord. Literally, he really didn't feel like a fight either. He had just seen Della and knew she needed saving from a practical killer of family. He obliged willingly, he was seen with lots of friend girls and knew it was not a problem. Even if Melia had a problem, which she shouldn't, it wasn't as if he were cheating on her, he didn't play that way. Cheaters were just hurtful and his hurt was something more ideal. He smirked and turned to Della.
"Okay, well, com'on Della. Let's leave Weasley to his issues." She was frozen as if a baskilisk reflection had came into her view. He was a little confused; yes he was Dominick and he was drop dead gorgeous and sexy...But he wasn't a stunner. He smiled kindly and wrapper his right arm around her shoulders. He guided her toward his way and began to think of conversation starters. "What's you next class?" He looked at her blue optics which seemed out of focus; he would snap his fingers but she'd feel silly enough to know she was out of it.

Della wasn't one to cheat, hurt, or steal someone from their lover. She'd spaced out again. Cursing herself softly, she glanced at Adam then at Dominick. Adam was pretty but he kept to himself. Dominick was very pretty but he spoke his mind. Stroking her left arm with her right hand, she sighed once again. No one was talking. Then out of no where Dominick put his arm around her shoulder. Blushing lightly, she listened. "Um, okay." Wow, what a lame answer. Um, okay. Geez. How pretty was he? Really pretty. He asked her another question. "Not sure, hey why are you treating me like this?" She asked almost in a whisper but it was audible.

Dominick smiled and shook his head softly. Okay was good enough for him. He walked on with her wondering why he never really looked at her, she was pretty but for some reason Dom never saw those quiet girls too much, others tried to prove themsevles to him so he just chose who was compatible. He tried to thing of the last thing he had said to Della before this day. A hey maybe but he couldn't be sure, in his first year, he was friendly but Della hadn't been there. He scrunched his nose as he thought of the second year, a nice one because of Frae but a bad one because of his attitude toward some. He had matured though, thank the heavens.
He looked at her confusedly. Why was he treating her nice? Really, why? She needed his actions to steer her in the right place. Je looked kind of pointedly at her. "Did you really want to talk to a blood traitor? If you do go ahead, I just thought since he's friends with a killer of your uncle you'd want to get away." Dom took his arm away and step almost in front of her; he raised his palms to the side in an innocent shrug. "Go ahead then, my bad." He looked at her in a questioning way; would she choose blood traitor over a saviour of that one's company?

They kept on but she couldn't help but wonder if she should speak up. Once he'd removed his arm, she frowned. Then as he went on a scowl was on her face. Her eyes narrowed as she curled her fists into balls and stared "I don't need you to tell me to go back to whom, I was enjoying my time with you and Adam's father was Harry's friend, yes, and I thank him dearly for killing my damned uncle." Her voice was very much loud and she was was staring him dead in the eyes. She placed a hand on the wall and tapped her fingers silently. A sigh was released as she looked back at Adam. She wished to see Anna. Looking at Dominick, she frowned and looked away. Della stopped tapping her fingers and cleared her mind. Wanting just to count to three, shift, and flutter away.

Dominick watched her scowl, he'd roll this one off with no problem. "Well, as I said my bad. Thought you were something else Della, my bad." Dominick was ready to walk away but somethign stopped him and raised his brows. Her damned uncle? She didn't want him alive? Wow she was something completely different form what Dmoinick thought.
"Well, if you aren't mad at a blood traitor, then I suppose I was wrong in wrenching you away. Good day, Miss Angelus." Dominick shook his head in a whatever way. She dampened his mood, now he needed Melia to fix him up some, or Frae, she'd work. As a friend Frae was a nice mood enhancer, her thoughts or words would make Dominick smile and see that a mood was no fun. He shrugged and turned to walk away and friend a real friend of his; guess there were more pures who decided to resist the newer ways of seeing....All pures made the world right; you didn't see wizards and witches giving up magic and trying ot be a muggle, where they didn't belong.

Della had enough. She stared at him. Maybe she would have been better off with Adam. She sighed softly and listened. Della watched silently. It was hard to make Della mad but she hated her uncle. Closing her eyes, calming her mood lightly. Watching him leave was hard. But he was taken. Della sighed once more and pushed her weight up against the wall. Her hands were shaking. She just now realized. "That quick." Della placed her hands behind her back, leaned up from the wall, and gazed around. She wasn't late for class, actually it was the end of the day. "Dominick..." She whispered when she turned to head for her dorm.
