Holly had stressed over this date way to much. She barely read her book at all. Just stayed up in her dormitory, planning an outfit. Trying to make herself not blush when she thought of him and begging Della to help her. Finally, it was the day. Outfitted in a simple royal blue t-shirt that clung to her body and a pair of light white-washed jeans. She had researched charms and found one to put your hair in ringlets. She put on abit of lipgloss and that was about it. Not knowing if he was waiting for her in the common room she sped out without even looking back. the usually short walk to Hogwarts seemed to take hours. As usual, Slytherins taunted her, only for once... not on her looks. Holly kept her head down however. A cold breeze blew and it threw her curls around . The little entrance bell dinged as Holly walked in. Looking around, she didn't see him so she chose a booth near the back of the room. Sliding in one side she leaned her head against the red cushiony fabric. She could see alot of students. and as usual.. most ignored her. Holly was glad, she only wanted Teddy to notice her. Self-consiously she fluffed her hair and adjusted her shirt. Biting her lipshe crossed her arms and stared off into space. What if he changed his mind? or came with another girl... what if he finally noticed she was ugly? or this was all a big joke..

Teddy stalked down the slightly chilly street, a ridiculously heavy black cloak draped around his shoulders, nearly stiffling him. No colthes could be ssen beneath it because of the great extent to which it covered him. With a slight grin Teddy pulled out a poket mirror he carried with him everywhere and ducked into a near by alley, examining his disguise once more, searching it for any flaws. His entire face had changed from a handsome sixteen year old into the ugliest old man ever to be alive. He was bald, except for a few faint whisps of pure white hair, missing almost all his teeth, with milky brown eyes. His skin sagged around mouth and eyes. The best part was the nose, a massive thing with a extra bit stuck on the end like a peice of clay, so very different from the thin blade of a nose he had worn nearly every other day of his life. Why the disguise, you ask? Especially on his way to the Three Broomsticks with a date with the best girl he'd seen in a while? Well, Teddy had a little obsession with gillywater, and this was the only way to get it. He wasn't a drunk or anything, he just liked the cold shiver taht rand down his esophagus and spinal chord with every sip of the slimy stuff. The sixth year Ravenclaw pulled up his black hood once more and paced quickly into the tavern crammed with Hogwarts students. He swooped up the bar, a crackly bass voice sounding out from the normally mellow baritone. "Gillywater and a butter beer." The barkeep let out a shrill cackle and shook her head. "Come out of there right now Mister Theodore Sirius Lupin! I know your tricks! Two butterbeers is all you get!" Witha rueful grin Teddy swept off his thick cloack and draped it over his arm, slowly clanging his appearance into a more familiar one. Thin nose, light blue eyes, tan skin, and spiky hair. The spikes were an obsession, and today they were only half an inch long, in a moderatly restrictive brown streaked through with blue. "You know me to well, Babs." Quickly he swept the butter beers into his large, callused hands, heading over to the corner table where he had noticed Holly. Whoa. She had changed completely from the quiet mouse of the library. Now she was.. radiant. Teddy quickly swept non-existant dust from his muggle tee shirt. Hey, was it a crime to like the Rolling Stones? They were bloody great. His bottom half was clad in loose-fitting dark blue jeans, complete with a few rips. Sliding itno the red seat across from Walker he grinned and slid her a butter beer. "Hey Holly, you look great! Hope you like butter beer?

Holly watched as an old man entered The Three Broomsticks and tried to purchaase a gilly water. She was suprised to see him morph into Teddy. But on cue, Holly turned bright red as she soon as she saw him. Smiling softly she took the drink and noddeda yeah I do, thanks for the drink she said. Looking down as he said she looked great. All that prepping seemed to have payed off. um, thanks.. you do too she said looking back up at him. Taking a small sip of her drink she clutched it tightly with both hands. How was your week? she asked tenderly. Deciding not to mention she had seen Harmony Stone hanging off his arm once or twice.. that had really hurt her, she didn't quite know why. Holly crossed her legs and accidently brushed his leg. Blushing furiously once more sorry she said quietly. Finallly, she managed to let go of the butter beer, resting her elbows on the table. She couldn't help but wish he had sat next to her, held her hand.. put his arm around her. Just to know what it felt like. She bet it felt nice. She had spent six years watching her "friends" and enemies alike go through romance, they looked so happy.. she had run into quite a few pairs making out between the shelves in the library.. she secretly always hoped someday that would be her. But who knew, she doubted it would ever be. But who knew her future?

Holly's skin was flushed a brilliant scarlet, standing slightly against teh light blue of her tight shirt. With a pop and a sizzle the butter beer opened beneath Teddy's large hand. "Good, I wasn't sure but I wanted to get it while I was up there." With a grin the sixth eyar took a swig of the sweet drink, feeling it swim down to his stomach slowly. Delicious. As always. Teddy stared at the girl before him and tried to decide. That Gryffindor, Harmony, had been flirting with him forever, but he knew what she was, and it wasn't waht he wanted. Still, they were good friends and she hung on him a bit, although they both knew it would never happen. It was all in good fun. No, it was no choice who'd rather be serious with, but what he was trying to decide was who was more beautiful. And at that moment has he looked at holly's blushing cheeks and down-cast eyes, still pretty shy, he knew. And he would draw her out, no matter what it took. Suddenly he felt a smooth presence against his leg through his jeans and he gave out a loud laugh, pointedly ignoring the jealous stares of a pair of fith year Hufflepuffs as tehy tramped past, their gazes greedy. "You seem to do that alot, why don't I just make this easier?" Wtih a grin he rose, and paused for a second, as if wondering whether or not to walk away. Seconds later he was sliding into her side of the booth, the tight space making their legs touch and tingle. Slowly he snaked his arm over her shoulders, prepared to stop if she stiffened up of got nervous.

Holly smiled sweetly. Sitting up abit straighter she took another drink. It was sweet and creamy. Delicious, simply amazing. Holly shrugged I'm not that picky when it comes to drinks she said smiling gently. She looked back at him as he watched her carefully. Inside she wished she wasn't as shy! he thought it was cute, everyone did. But truthfully it was downright hard to deal with and annoying! Holly bit her lip as he laughed. As he rose he looked as if he was about to leave. her blue eyes widened mire than usual. His words were only slightly suggestive, and who was she to deny him? Her heart raced as he squeezed in beside her, everywhere their bodies touched was on fire. Holly froze up for a moment before relaxing. The millimeters that seperated them seem to disappear and she soon felt their bodies melting together. As his arm went around her small shoulders she looked up at him and blusheded. Deciding to take a step on the reckless side she leaned into him slightly and rested her head on his shoulder. Holly bit her lip. Taking a sip of butterbeer she put her hands on her lap, ofcourse they turned abit dweaty and one fell off, onto Teddy's upper thigh. Holly blushed horribly, quickly putting her hand back on her on leg, and wishing she could die... right then and there.
