She heaved a gentle sigh as she stared into the fire, her legs underneath her as she curled up on the couch. She was so tired of doing homework. In her hand was a quill, in the other a piece of parchment that bore down on her potions book. She was to be writing an essay on some topic or another, but she couldn't really focus. It was just after dinner, and she only had about two hours to do all her homework before she had to go to Quidditch practice. But she was so tired of schoolwork. She set down her quill and pulled out her wand, rolling it on her fingers boredly. She charmed the quill and wrote a few more lines before setting down her school work and looking into the fire once more. A few people milled around the common room. but she hardly knew any ravenclaws. She surprisingly mostly hung out with Dominick, Matthew, and Adam. As unlikely as it may seem. She should get to know more Ravenclaws, she thought.

Holly emerged from the dormitory, book in hand. She was seriously on cloud nine.. The Yule Ball was coming up, and she had a date. She was wondering if she was really falling for Teddy. Whenever she said his name or saw him she blushed, her heart leapt and she was shyer than usual. Which is saying alot.. Holly was very shy and up until this year, barely had any friends. Just Slytherins who made fun of her muggle parentage and brains. Now, she had Gwen, Della, Teddy, Albus and Adam... it felt nice to be able to say hi to people in the hallways. People didn't seem to taunt her as much. It felt good. However she was still a major bookworm. Walking into the common room she saw someone sitting doing homework. Holly smiled gently to her as she went to her favorite chair. It was large, leather, blue and pufffy. AS she sat in it, it almost englulfed her. Resting her head back she sighed contently and crossed her legs, ready to start reading. She was small for her age, and the book was very arge. it pushed her legs into the couch slightly.
