Friendless. She was in her second year of Hogwarts, it was safe to say she had never had a friend in this place. They all knew who her parents were, and thus they wanted nothing more to do with her, the fact that she was in Ravenclaw didn't do anything ... they all regarded her as if she were a Slytherin. But she wasn't! Nor did she want to be! She wasn't like her parents ... she just needed to make people see that. But they never saw it, and it was perhaps this fact that made her so unhappy. It didn't matter what she tried to do, nobody ... not even from her own house wanted to be friends with her. She saw the looks they gave her when they thought she wasn't paying attention. The looks of utter disdain, as if they were regarding a piece of particularily nasty rubbish. But she tried to act oblivious, perhaos they would soon see .. she was not like, what they thought she was.
It was a sigh that left her lips as she sat in one of the armchairs of the abandoned common room. She hugged her knees to her breast and sat with her chin in the crevise it made. She didn't cry anymore, there had been a time when she used to cry herself to sleep every night ... but that was over that time, it would do no good. It would only make them think she was also a wimp. Contrary to the image they thought her of a nasty, lieing little bitch. Eponine sighed sadly, she preferred being alone these days .. however much she longed for a friend. It was less observing, less judging when the only company she held was her own.

He answeared the question, then entered the room. It was wonderfully empty, and quiet. A good place to read. He smiled, and tryed to rember what was in his bag. He had a muggle book, somthing about a vampire. He was happy He could sit and relax, enjoying the quiet of the common room. he sat on a coach, and went to his bag, surprized to see someone a cross from him. She was pretty, with short brown hair and gorges eyes. She was in a postion that was showing that she was sad. ' Dan diddn't belive he was doning this. He never was so friendly. He went up to her, and put and arm around in comfort. He smiled and said "Heyah. I'm Dan. Is something wrong?" He showed concern, for it was obivous she, like him, was lonely, and in need of comort. He was trying to think of a happy memory, to keep this face showing the comfort. Sadly, he found none in his past, so began to think of now, because that was what was important. He smiled agian, knowing that he could be storng for her.
00c: so bad.

She was very different to most pure blood wizards, she had no problem with muggles, in fact she often found that they were the better company, they didn't know who she was, who her parents were. She liked that, the fact that they didn't judge her before they knew her. But then there were those that did know of her, particularily her mother. Pansy Parkinson had always had a notorious reputation around the school, being involved witht he likes of Draco Malfoy and such. Po'nine on the other hand avoided the Malfoy children as much as she possible could while at Hogwarts, they often met during the holidays when their families met, but she did not like that pair of children, and unless she was much mistaken ... they did not like her much either.
She had her eyes lowered to the ground, she knew that they would walk past her unless they wanted her seat, then they would just kick her off, the ritual had never been any different, not even when she was in first year. She flinched in suprise as she felt someone's arm around her shoulders, she looke up, brushing a lock of dark hair that fell in front of her eyes. It was a boy, she had seen him around the place, he was in her year .. though she didn't know him all that well. It suprised her that he was sitting next to her, she didn't make a sound, hoping he was fooling and was just about to push her off the chair. But then he spoke, his name was Dan, he seemed concerned about her, that was a novelty ... at least for her it was anyway.
"I'm .. Eponine ... or Po'nine if you like."
She said quietly, trying to change her voice form one of miserableness to pure bliss, but changes such as that just did not happen as she would have often liked them to. She sighed, he also seemed lonely, but god at least he probably had friends ... at least people probably liked him and spoke to him, instead of ignored you and gave you a wide birth and often a crude remark or pushed you. It wasn't fair really..
"Many things are wrong..."
She said, trying to pick up a smile ... again however it was to no avail.

Why did he have to be in this room at this time? It was making him think of something and he realy as trying not to laught. Ok, it was a dumb pun, but even now the pun would sneak up on him. As it was ravenclaw, the room was blue. She was 'blue' in a diffrent sence. He knew it was dumb, but why did it have to be hard not to laught?
Her names was beatiful. Who could say it in a harsh way? it was musical. Eponine. And she was beatiful. Stort brown hair and pretty eyes. She had no reason to be sad. "Many things are wrong..."
"I've got time."

His face looked almost comical, as if he was trying not to laugh. But not laugh at what? Her ..? Was something wrong with her that she could not see, her face looked afronted and almost sad at this expression of his. She had hoped that here was one who did not intend on judging her, maybe she was wrong and this was all just some big joke to get her hopes up for a friend and then have reality crush down upon her. If that was his plan then it was not very nice of him, she glanced around inconspicuously as if searching for any tell tale sign that a joke was being played on her, but she saw nothing. The common room was empty except for Daniel and she.
As he spoke she glanced at him, for the first time there was hope in her eyes, as well as questioning .. did he really mean what he said? I mean ... nobody ever had time for her ... not even her parents.
"People don't like me ... just because of who i am."
It sounded childish when she spoke it out loud, even to her. But the truth was horrible and it hurt like hell. They didn't even talk nicely to her. The teachers didn't seem to like her either, she was alone in this school. And the thought was terrifying.

"People don't like me ... just because of who i am." He smiled at her. Was this a friend? His heart said "Yes". His gut told him she was troble, but who lissened to your gut anyway? Dan patted her head and said.
"Unless your a werewolf, there's not reason for that." He said, smiling a bit at his own joke.
"My family is kinda a werck. My parnet should het divored, but they think it would hurt me. Truth be told, i think the fighting is worse."
He looked out the wndow. The moutians were painted agianst a beatiful gray sky. He sighed at the beauty. Of the picture out the window, and her. She was so pretty.
"I supose you have a date to the halloween dance?"
ooc: hes gonna ask her, i thought it better be fast or it'll be too late.
